Animations For Gestures:

Step 1: Select the avs you wish to use for your gesture.
Step 2: Open PSP and click on the white icon (looks like a piece of paper with the corner bent.
Step 3: Depending on how many avs you use, set you width and height (eg...(4 regular avs...4x48=192...Leave the height at 64...thus you get an area of 192x64) (4 mega avs...4x102=408..Leaving the height at 116, you get an area of 408x116)
Step 4: Click on the first av you would like to use
Step 5: Cut it out
Step 6: Click on the area you created
Step 7: Increase that area to 16 million colors
Step 8: Goto Edit, paste, then paste as a new selection
Step 9: You will have to play around a bit here, pay attention to the numbers at the bottom of the PSP screen, they will tell you where your av is...make sure that your first av is aligned at 102x116, the second at 204x116, the third at 306x116 and the fourth at 408x116
Step 10: Save the image in gif format


Making a Gesture:

Step 1: Open your gesture compiler
Step 2: On your compiler, you will see a little box near the bottom, it the Animation Frame width, set it 102 (if you are using Mega avs)
Step 3: On the left hand side, you will see 4 little boxes, click on the bottom three only, leave the Transparent Colour alone.....Just click on the three boxes.
Step 4: Click on the Animation File Button, select the folder where you saved your animation to, then select the animation and click open
Step 5: Click on the Wav File Button, select the folder where the wav file is, select that file, then click open
Step 6: Click on the Button File button...(You need to make a button at this point, Go into PSP and click the white icon again, set to 20x20 and put whatever ya want on it....then save it in gif format)...Select the button you just made
Step 7: Think of a tag line
Step 8: Press the Test Button and you will see and hear how the gesture will sound
Step 9: Once you are satisfied with your gesture, goto File, then save as, select your gesture name and click ok.....CONGRATS, You have made your first gesture....
